Another thing I forgot to mention that happened on Friday was G told us about his cousin getting in a car accident, and a pretty serious one at that with a miraculous conclusion. His cousin drives a Dodge Talon (a fairly small sporty car) and while he was driving the previous Friday night, he fell asleep at the wheel. His accident was much worse tham nine though. When he was driving, he was going 110 miles an hour. Plus, he hit numerous things, went off the road, and flew out of his car as it rolled more than 60 feet down the road. The car even went airborne for some period of time. G only got 45 minutes of sleep that night, because the police called an hour after he arrived home telling him the details. His cousin was lucky to be alive, especially after being thrown from the car. When they arrived at the hospital, G said he was hooked up to all sorts of machines and they weren't sure if he was going to make it. To give this story a twist, days later his cousin left the hospital without so much as a serious injury and was walking around later that week. His family keeps telling him he's lucky, but he's not really listening. Much like after my accident, I don't think he realizes how lucky he truly is. Last time on Apexsensatin : Now on Apex : Apex Archives : Next time on ApexsensatinWe did nothing on Saturday, so I drove around the city and looked at the Olympic related banners and changes. The way they lit up Rice-Eccles stadium with blue at night looks really cool, and hopefully the world will see it tomorrow.
