Im sure youve heard the second biggest story of the Olympics involving the bobsleigh team of Jean Racine and Gea Johnson. In case you havent, just weeks before the Olympics were to begin, Racine dumped her former partner Jen Davidson in favor of Johnson. This week, Johnson pulled her hamstring, making her questionable for tonights bobsleigh race. Now because Racine dumped Davidson just before the Olympic time trials, even if she had wanted to crawl back to Davidson and beg her for forgiveness, she wouldnt be able to because they werent teammates at the time of the time trials. So Racine and Johnson were forced to race injured and finished fifth.

If this isnt a fine example of karma, then I dont know what is. It reminds me of that episode of Saved By The Bell where Lisa enters a dance contest with Screech, dumps him when someone better comes along, and when she injures herself and her partner doesnt want her, Screech obliges and helps her.

Maybe it doesnt fit, but it sounded good when I typed this.
