So that's it?

Our city hosted the world (and did a damn fine job of it) for seventeen days and almost as suddenly as tens of thousands of people packed themselves into Park City and Salt Lake, they've left with a lasting impression of the city, the Olympics and perhaps most importantly, the people.

We put on a show, the likes of which Salt Lake will never see again.

For seventeen days, our city was transformed for the better. City blocks were blocked off, performers were on every corner, people were everywhere and the firework show that just took place involving 11 different locations was something else. In fact while filming the last few items on my Olympic games checklist, I caught the extravaganza on tape from an overpass overlooking the city. I hadn't even heard that there would be a show.

I hope to upload various pictures from the few weeks as soon as possible. I'm also going to begin the tedious task of editing together a short video package containing what I filmed while downtown in Salt Lake over a series of three different days. The ideas and music are selected, the editing awaits.

And so does sleep. I'm coming off of less than two hours last night.
