The banners and temporary tents are beginning to come down. The streets that were once closed off are now open, all except the area where the Medals Plaza is. That'll remain blocked off through the Paralympics which begin on the 7th. My dad suddenly (finally) realized that the Wrangler was a gas guzzling youngser's car, so it appears that we'll be getting another vehicle. I'm pulling for a Mazda 626, my sister for either a Dodge Neon or a Chevy Cavalier. All I can say is it's about time, and if everything goes right, we'll have a new car within the next few weeks. One last birthday wish to Briant who was my best friend for seven years until his family moved and we lost touch. We didn�t see each other from 8th grade until after I graduated. He�s on his mission right now, part of his transformation from discipline case to church missionary. 20 years old. Man, he�s getting old too.
