May 20, 2002 // 7:21 a.m. // Utah stereotypes

Ugh! Let's hope that after today, we hear no more about Survivor. That's what happens when you have a local come within one vote of winning a million dollars.

Stereotype much?

First it was Julie on the Real World. Now, it's Neleh from Survivor. I'm sure all of the non-locals are getting the following impresseions of Utahn's:

We all say "oh my heck." Not true. For the most part, this is a Mormon thing, and as I've noticed, typically females say this.

We're all Mormon's. Again, not true. But such a large percentage is (easily more than half) that it makes it hard to find a non-Mormon girl in a city that's already the size of a box.

We all love Jell-O (especially green Jell-O) Ugh. If I could tell you how many times I've been to a potluck, school event or family gathering where Jell-O was served, you'd see how quickly one could get sick of the jiggly dessert. Every day from K-12, it was an option for school lunch.

Hmmm...Maybe I need to take a trip somewhere. Find out the rest of the stereotypes. I just realized that this was a terrible entry. Maybe it's filler for what may come later today.
